The National Association of Realtors and Google has just produced an updated report on exactly how homebuyers are using digital media to shorten the time it takes them to filter through all of their options and make informed decisions. With so many options it’s easy to be overwhelmed but it’s best to pick one place to save all your favorites regardless of where you found them. For our clients we have two resources we use extensively. One is ListingBook which provides a daily update of price changes, new listings and solds based on the clients criteria. The ability to quickly toggle between solds and actives and stay in touch with your agent with notes works very well for our team. The fact that I get a dashboard view every day of all the activity in the specific areas my clients are looking and my listings are located makes it easy to monitor new opportunities for all of us.
The other tool I rely on is SmartZip. SmartZip provides my clients with a snapshot of value that takes many factors into consideration. It’s actually incredibly accurate when you make adjustments on the sales it uses. A consumer can purchase a report online through the service on a specific property either as an investment or as a personal residence however we provide them at no cost to our clients who are purchasing or are on a select mailing list. If you would like a SmartZip access code for a particular property just let us know and it would be our pleasure to help you.
In the next few weeks we will have our Guides on SmartZip and ListingBook published and available on this site. Meanwhile enjoy this great article from our friends at The Lipman Group Sotheby’s Internatioanl Realty in Nashville.
